“The only real valuable thing is intuition.” - Albert Einstein

Do you allow your intuition to guide you … or do you ignore the messages you receive?

I can tell you with certainty, my intuition is one the most powerful tools in my life and business. I used to not believe these clear signals leading me into my highest potential.

But the longer I’ve been around, the more I’ve come to realize that my gut instinct is typically right on.

“A woman knows by intuition, or instinct, what is best for herself.” - Marilyn Monroe

When I walk in faith, I get to my desired destination with a lot more grace and ease. Plus, it’s a lot more fun!

In this episode of Get Gutsy, I share a personal story of how my intuition led me to move through one of my biggest fears: growing my team and accepting more help so I can help more people with my mission.

My hope is that you too will be inspired to move to your next level by honoring your intuition.

“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” - Steve Jobs

Do you need inspiration to heal, recover, and move forward from a troubled past? Are you looking to channel your creativity and find a way to tell YOUR STORY?

You don’t want to miss my conversation with Rachel Resnick, a writer with an incredible background and an amazing perspective on the topic of STORY. Rachel loves writing, but maybe even more, she loves teaching others to write and connect.

I met Rachel through Ali Brown’s Elevate business coaching program, and I knew immediately that she was the one to help me create my book, Get Gutsy. What a powerful experience it was to give birth to MY STORY with Rachel’s expert help! She would NOT let me shrink back from bringing my truth to the page. At times I hated her! But it was because of her fierceness and love for my work that Get Gutsy became all it could be.

And that book COMPLETELY gave way to this very podcast of the same name. What a wild, wonderful ride, right?!

I count Rachel as an important mentor in my life, and that’s why she’s featured on Get Gutsy during Bring the Heat Week. Join us to learn more about telling your story, going THERE, and leaving no stone unturned.

May 20, 2016

On May 9, 2015, I made a decision that would change the course of my life.

And that decision was to release alcohol from my life.

It had been a long road to get to that point.

And when I did, it simply felt like the natural next step on my journey.

And yet as I say this, it still blows me away that I could and would walk the road of sobriety.

Now that I’ve marked 1 year sober, I’m reflecting back on what I’ve learned, how I’ve changed, and what life is like when you’re seeing with new eyes.

On this episode of Get Gutsy, we dive deep on this topic. Come on in and receive.

Nerves get in the way of fulfilling your potential?

Doubts keeping you on the sideline?

Fear telling you the lie that “you’re not good enough”?

It’s time to shift that low-level energy into SERVING your tribe and SOLVING their problems.

This is where SELLING comes into the conversation.

Some people cringe at the thought of selling, but to me selling is serving.

Sure, free stuff is great (and you know I give my tribe a lot of free value!), but if you're truly committed to growing your business and helping more people, you MUST, MUST, MUST invest.

When you invest, you're invested.

Sure, free stuff is great (and you know I give my tribe a lot of free value!), but if you're truly committed to growing your business and helping more people, you MUST, MUST, MUST invest.

When you invest, you're invested.

There is no growth without tension.

No growth without investment.

No growth without commitment.

No growth without a decision.

“My life is my message.” - Mahatma Gandhi

You have something amazing to contribute to the world.

As a leader, you can make a huge impact through your MESSAGE + VOICE.

When you fully step into this, you feel free to express and act upon your ideas (even when those ideas push against popular convention).

If you’re familiar with the chakras, your VOICE is aligned with your 5th chakra, which is located at your throat.

When your 5th chakra is balanced, you find your true voice, in word, thought and deed.

When you’re out of alignment here, watch out. You can only keep the facade going for so long.

Your body won’t let you lie to yourself or to the world forever.

I learned this the hard way in my early 20s when I was living a life I thought I was “supposed” to have:

Public relations agency executive.

New York City.

Traveling around the world on a project with the soccer star Pele for my client.

So busy that I’d practically shovel my lunch into my mouth while sitting at my desk, attempting to work while I ate. (Not a good idea.)

I had just met my now husband and started realizing that my career path wasn’t a fit for me anymore.

It was terrifying to have that THOUGHT.

But what was even more terrifying was the fact that during many mealtimes, I felt like I was choking on my food.

I distinctly remember panicking when the food would start going down my esophagus. It felt like the food was too big … like I literally had bitten off more than I could chew.

My mind would start racing and I would start pacing the room, not knowing what to do to stop these horrible feelings and thoughts.

It wasn’t until I transformed my life and started living in alignment that these panic attacks stopped happening.

Spiritual leadership is the way forward.

I want to talk to you today about what it is and why it’s crucial for our future and your success.

Spiritual leadership is knowing how you need to be showing up in the world, so that you can do your best work.

It’s about knowing how we’re wired so we can operate at our highest level and fulfill our greatest potential.

I learned this the hard way through many years of being lost, of not taking care of myself, of not taking care of my body, of following somebody else’s path that I thought was the way and realizing that it doesn’t work for me.

Spiritual leadership is realizing someone else’s benchmark of success is completely different than yours and being really mindful to live your life and serve your people YOUR WAY.

On this episode of Get Gutsy, we dive deep on this topic. Come on in and receive.

You’ve got to really embrace FAITH + HUSTLE as you do your work in the world.

When I say doing your work in the world, that applies to you whether you’re a full-time entrepreneur, a corporate gal building your venture as a side hustle, a stay-at-home mom launching your venture when your kids are sleeping, or perhaps you work in the government sector.

There are so many ways to slice it. The point is you’re creating a body of work that you’re proud of.

Hustle looks like this: doing the work, doing the work, doing the work even when the results aren’t instantaneous, even when the results aren’t immediate. Getting up and doing the work. Being consistent and showing up.

And the faith piece is trusting that it’s all happening. It’s all happening for you. But it’s the inside job. You’ve got to have a belief in something greater than yourself.

On this episode of Get Gutsy, we dive deep on this topic. Come on in and receive.

“Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.” - Jim Rohn

I’m not sure where I’d be without a trusted team of spiritual teachers and spirit guides.

I don’t consider myself religious, but my spirituality is very important to me. It is my compass as I move through the world.

On this episode of Get Gutsy, I share what I’ve learned from some of my favorite spiritual teachers like Rob Bell, Gabby Bernstein, Joel Osteen and my yoga teachers. I also talk about spirit guides and how you can call them into your life right now to help you navigate the road ahead.

I have a number of SPIRIT GUIDES in my life. These guides help me every single day. I call them in. I accept their help. I trust that I am NOT alone.

And neither are you.

Call them in. Call in your guides by name.

They are ready to help you advance your mission + spread your message.

Excited to hear what you think of this one. Hit me up in my FB group (join at http://GutsyGalaxy.com) or on Instagram - @jennyfenig - and tell me!

“Spirituality can release blocks, lead you to ideas, and make your life artful. Sometimes when we pray for guidance, we're guided in unexpected directions. We may want a lofty answer and we get the intuition to clean our bedroom. It can seem so humble and picky and that you don't necessarily think of it spiritual guidance.” - Julia Cameron
